General
4SkoolSuite is a cloud-based school management system built for schools in Uganda. It brings student records, attendance, exams, fees, timetables, and reporting into one platform so that administrators, teachers, and parents can work from a single source of truth.
SkoolSuite is designed for primary and secondary schools in Uganda. It supports school directors, administrators, class teachers, subject teachers, bursars, and parents — each with their own role-specific view.
SkoolSuite is fully web-based and also supports Progressive Web App (PWA) installation, which means it works like a native app on phones and tablets without needing an app store download.
Yes. SkoolSuite is fully responsive and works on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers. The PWA feature lets users install it directly from their browser for an app-like experience.
Access & Login
5Access is set up by your school administrator or by the SkoolSuite team during onboarding. You will receive an invitation link via email that walks you through setting your password and activating your account.
On the login page, click "Forgot Password" and enter your registered email address. You will receive a password reset link. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder or contact your school administrator.
Yes. SkoolSuite supports unlimited concurrent users. Every staff member, teacher, and parent can be logged in simultaneously without any performance impact.
SkoolSuite has the following roles: Director / Administrator (full access), Teacher (class and subject management), Bursar (fees and finance), Parent (read-only view of their child's progress), and Developer (system-level access). Permissions within each role can be customised.
Contact your school administrator. Admins can activate, deactivate, and reset passwords for any user account from the Users management section.
Features & Usage
6Administrators fill in the student admission form with personal details, guardian information, boarding status, and medical notes. A unique student code is auto-generated. Photos can be uploaded at admission or later from the student profile.
Teachers mark daily attendance class by class from the Attendance module. Boarding dorm attendance and event-based attendance are also supported. Historical records and absence summaries are available to administrators.
Exams are created by administrators in the Exams Setup section. Teachers enter marks through the Marks Entry module. Marks go through a draft → submit → approve → publish workflow before they become visible to parents and appear on report cards.
Yes. SkoolSuite has a full Report Cards module. Administrators configure the template, grading scale, and comment rules. The system generates individual PDF report cards per student once marks are published.
The Fees module allows administrators to define a fee structure per class or stream, issue invoices, record payments, apply bursaries or discounts, and generate receipts. A full ledger per student is maintained. Outstanding balances and collection reports are available.
Yes. Parents have a dedicated portal where they can view their child's attendance, published marks, fee balance, and upcoming payments. Parent accounts are linked to student records and managed by the school administrator.
